Web Business Analyst Adchemy
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Adchemy Actions Search & UX team is looking to hire a smart, forward-thinking Web Business Analyst to join our team. The Web Business Analyst will help define, develop, and deliver advertising and site reporting analysis that informs strategic and tactical decision-making related to Adchemy Actions advertising and site user experience.
They will be responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing advertising and website data to advance our understanding of visitors? and customers? behavior, and to optimize advertising and site design, and content.
Work with other team members to articulate and complete functional specifications
Critically evaluate information from multiple sources
Decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding and distinguish user requests from underlying true needs
Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs
Develop & deliver documentation & training and provide peer training and mentoring
Define, create, analyze, and manage weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting, as well as, ad hoc reports for various types of analyses including but not limited to site activity, user behavior, marketing performance, and ROI
In collaboration with the Director, this role will develop technical tracking requirements and provide ongoing documentation, QA testing and maintenance to ensure tracking requirements are met.
Monitor data integrity, investigate and resolve anomalies
Use web analytics tools to define and provide ongoing tracking of key performance indicators, identify failure points and opportunities for improvement; provide recommendations
Define and manage research and analysis in order to create data-driven insights about visitor behavior from traffic patterns, lead volume, conversion funnel, navigation behavior, and pathing.
Proactively identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve website & advertising effectiveness by drilling into data in order to further profitability and growth.
Help drive business decision-making by educating and informing Adchemy teams on web metrics-terminology, concepts, trends, insights, and recommendations. Help teach us all the a-b-c?s of effective analysis.
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Translating functional requirements into business rules and page specifications.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Access)
Self starter and be able to work independently as well as a team member
Power user of Google Analytics
Familiar with technology used to build, tag and track web sites
Strong financial modeling experience
Dogged desire to use technology to solve difficult problems
Experience or knowledge of search engine marketing including AdWords & Bing Ads
Experience in Education and/or Mortgage lead generation
This position will report directly to the Director of Search Engine Marketing & UX and will be based in our Foster City, CA office location.
