Workflow Engineer Liaison Technologies
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED A Workflow Engineer is a technical position working with large enterprise customers, who have implemented data management solutions on Liaison?s SaaS based Data Management platform. The engineer will build and modify data workflows based on customer requirements using Liaison?s Content Data Management platform. This position requires working well in teams, as well as independently on projects. As a customer facing position, excellent communication (oral and written), customer expectation management, responsiveness to customer needs, being proactive in anticipating technical challenges, being meticulous and having a consultative approach are extremely important to be successful in this position.
The ideal candidate will be responsive to customer needs, take a proactive approach in anticipating technical and political challenges throughout a project, have great organization skills with attention to detail, and will take a consultative approach to solving complex Data Management issues.
Effectively communicate with internal and external customers to capture current data management challenges and objectives from different stakeholders that define their needs.
Troubleshoot issues with data existing workflows as identified by customers.
Develop workflows to address data extraction, data validation, data cleanings, data harmonization, business logic, exception handling and required data syndication activities to support Customer?s MDM requirements.
Design and build data workflows as requested by customer and defined by requirements.
Collaborate with business process owners, data producers and data consumers to get an understanding of current processes and systems that has a direct impact on the quality of the enterprise data
Establish match rules that identify duplicate data across data sources and align required action with the organization?s data governance procedures
Work with Vocabulary Management Systems to define, source, import and maintain business entities definitions and its relevant reference data.
Strong Background in SQL and Oracle databases
Experience in a Data Governance project is a plus
Experience with ETL, Data Profiling, MDM tools is a plus
Any Data Management, Data Quality or MDM certification(s) is a plus
Java EE: EJBs, Servlets, JSPs, JMS, Web Services, Persistence frameworks
Proven ability to analyze and resolve problems; must be decisive and action-oriented with ability to function well under pressure
1-5 years experience working at an enterprise level with Product and/or Customer data
